Biodanza for the Community

Biodanza is for everyone, but some groups of people can gain especially positive benefits. Learn more about Maria’s special workshops for Women’s Wellbeing and Community Support

Biodanza can be a powerful tool for releasing stress, rebuilding self-esteem and strengthening personal resilience. Through movement, music and relational connection, it creates a safe and supportive environment where participants can reconnect with their sense of vitality and inner strength.

Maria works in partnership with a number of organisations across Greater Manchester. These include The Pankhurst Centre, where she facilitates weekly women-only Biodanza sessions as part of the Drop-In Café. She has delivered taster sessions for Manchester Women’s Aid and Stockport Women’s Centre, and has contributed to a pilot project with Trafford Rape Crisis. Maria has also facilitated sessions for Migrants Support Migrants.

In each of these settings, Biodanza provides a non-verbal, trauma-sensitive space that supports emotional expression, connection and empowerment.

If you would like to explore how Biodanza could support your community or women’s organisation, please contact Maria to arrange an initial consultation.
