Biodanza, meaning ‘the dance of life’, is a dance-based system and mindful movement practice, that assists personal and spiritual growth. Biodanza aims to awaken our joy of living, and make us feel more vibrant and alive. Practiced in a group, it is vital, playful, uplifting and life-affirming.
There are no steps to learn. Everyone is welcome – no experience is necessary!
The sessions will be led by Blanca, who studied at the Bristol School of Biodanza. She has been facilitating classes and workshops since 2014.
What to bring and wear:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Layers are a good idea, so you can regulate your temperature throughout the session. We usually dance in bare feet. Soft indoor shoes or dance shoes are also ok.
Tap water is available at the venue, but you may wish to bring your own bottle.
Doors open at 2pm for 2.15pm start.
Hot drinks will be available before and after the vivencia.
Please feel free to bring something little to eat and share at the end, if you would like to.
Tickets: £15 on door. £12 in advance. (7 days prior to the workshop)
Location: The sessions will take place at Stone Water Zen Centre, located on the top floor at 13 Hope Street. A 10 minute walk from Lime Street station near the Catholic cathedral, and in the building next door to the Everyman theatre. Liverpool, Merseyside L1 9BH United Kingdom + Google Map
